Social and Community Studies

I had worked in Social Care since 1981 and I needed a social care qualification.  I was apprehensive about going back to study at first, because of my age, but after a week my fears disappeared.

I enjoyed the one day a week at college, meeting and mixing with the class who all came from other care backgrounds.  The course was demanding at times but the lecturers were really supportive, approachable and up to date with current practice.  The course has helped my work in many ways and I'm now thinking of further study."
