Engineering

When I fist came to Glasgow from Albania, I couldn't speak any English.  I had always wanted to be an electrician, but I knew that to do that I needed qualifications, and to gain them, I would need to learn English too.  I started an English for Speakers of Other Languages class at Anniesland College and after two years, I was able to start the NC Engineering course.  I then went on to do the HNC Electrical Engineering course.

I really enjoyed studying at Anniesland College, the lecturers really supported me and if I had any issued the helped me.  I also go a lot of help with applying to SAAS and with my UCAS application.

I'm now studying a degree in Electrical Engieering at Napier University. Studying at Anniesland College prepared me well for foing to university and I got straight into the 2nd year because I had the HNC. I still plan to be an electrician when I've finished stuyding."
