The Business School

As a single parent with a young family I was looking to study something that would give me qualifications and hlep me to get back into the workplace. I chose Anniesland College because I live locally and I had a good experience when I first studied 10 years ago.

I completed NC Medical Secretarial last year and really enjoyed it so decided to do the HNC Administration and IT this year.  I hope to be able to go on to the HND next year and then hopefully find work within the NHS if possible.

As a mature student I was nervous about coming back to study as I thought the class would be younger but everyone just gels really well and I've not had any issues.  The college has a lot of support systems and there is a lot of help there if you need it.  I wouldn't have been able to come back and study at all if the college didn't help me with child care."
