User survey

We'd be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete the final Library user survey of the year.

The survey can be taken online or in print by picking up a copy at the Library desk. All replies are confidential, and are used to improve the services we provide. Thank you for your assistance.

Computer bookings

We are currently unable to take advance bookings for computers due to problems with the booking software. All Library PCs are available on a first come, first serve basis until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note that social networking access is only available on the short-stay PCs near the front of the Library.

How to renew your items online

We've created a step-by-step guide to show you how to renew your checked out items, or to place a hold on something that is already out on loan to someone else.

For staff, the login details are slightly different - please contact us to obtain your PIN.

New electronic resources

Business@The Mitchell is a collection of business-related electronic resources that can be used by students as well as those working in the field. Many of the databases are available online, though some require a visit to a public library. Resource titles include Credo Reference, Key Note, Factiva, Mint UK and Global, Proquest Central, Which?, British Standards Online and more.

Please ask at the Library for further information. If you don't have a public library card login, you can use ours.

SCHOLAR is an interactive resource aimed at Higher students to help with revision. Please ask Library staff if you'd like a demonstration to see what is available. Logins can be obtained by emailing vlesupport@anniesland.ac.uk.

JISC eCollections is a "world class collection, a virtual library of thousands of journals, historical books, images, films and sounds."

You can use these at college without signing in, and at home if you have an Athens password. Please ask at the Library desk for more information about this free resource.
