A. Yes, there are two possible ways to gain entry to the HNC. One option is to take the Highers that you need for the course (you can study these at Anniesland College) and then apply to the HNC. Alternatively, you should be able to apply for an NC level course in the same subject area, and you could progress to HNC after successfully completing the NC.
A. Most courses allow Mature students who have no qualifications to enter the course, depending on experience. You may need to apply first to an NC level before progressing to HNC level.

A. You will lose your benefit if you study full time, however you may be able to study for up to 16 hours per week as a part time student and keep your benefit. It may take you longer to complete the course.
A. If you study part time and are in receipt of certain means tested benefits or low income you should apply to have your fee waived. You will need to bring in evidence of benefit received or low income.
A. The college does not have Halls of Residence but Learner Services produces an accommodation list which features flats and rooms to let in the area.
