National Certificate

Entry Requirements:

Normal entry requirements are a school leaving certificate or equivalent and an IELTS score of 5 or equivalent. The NC should take one year to complete.

Higher National Diplomas (HND)

Anniesland College offers a range of programmes leading to HND qualifications. An HND takes two years to complete and are at SCQF level 8.

Entry Requirements:

For entry to Year 1 of HND you require school qualifications, NC or equivalent in an appropriate subject plus IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

Further Study:

If you gain an HND at Anniesland colleg you may be able to enter a degree level course at university in year 2 or 3.  At Scottish Universities you can study for an Ordinary Degree (three years) or an Honours Degree (four years).
