Our 4 week Summer School can help to introduce you to learning English and can also help you to prepare for a course of study. Courses will include 2 cultural visits a week.

Our courses are designed for students who:

  • Need to improve their language skills as a condition of entry to University or College.
  • Have already met English language conditions for entry to university, but want to prepare for academic study in English. 
  • Wish to gain an understanding of the demands of academic life and culture in order to get a head start before beginning an academic programme, including study skills.

The English Language Summer School can introduce you to life in Britain and to Scottish culture and history and will give you a chance to experience the UK academic environment before starting your programme of study.

Fee: £580   15 hours x 4 weeks

English for Academic Purposes
Your course can be tailored to match student interest in particular academic areas e.g.

  • Business
  • Engineering
  • Science
  • Computing
  • Arts and Social Sciences

Fee: £690   21 hours x 4 weeks
