Social Sciences (NC)

This course is designed to offer people the skills and qualifications to enable them to progress to further study either to HNC/D level or to Highers. It is particularly suitable for students seeking an introduction to Social Science. The course is specially designed for those who studied social subjects at Standard Grade or Int 1 or for those whose previous qualifications are out of date.

Entry requirements

• Entry is 5 standard grades at level 3 or above, to include English and social subjects.                        
• Mature students may be admitted without formal qualifications.

Articulation

Successful students may progress to HNC Social Sciences, HNC Social Care, HNC Care and Administrative Practice, HNC Working with Communities, HNC Counselling or Highers at Anniesland College.
