You will study for an SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) ESOL certificate at an appropriate level.

If your English is at a suitable level you can also study IELTS, FCE, CAE or Proficiency. You may also study English with other college subjects.

Further Study

This course will develop your English language skills to a level where you can work or progress to further study in the UK. You will be given full support with applications for colleges and universities across the UK.

Please note most UK universities ask for an IELTS score of 6 / 6.5. If you want to reach this level in a year, we strongly recommend that you join us with an IELTS score of 5. If your level of English is lower than this, you may have to study for longer than a year.
