Access to HNC Business (NC)

This course is designed to prepare students for study at Higher National level. The course content is linked closely to that of HNC Business and provides applicants who do not currently meet the entry requirements for HNC Business to build a solid foundation for progression to that qualification.

Entry requirements

  • One Higher or a minimum of four Standard Grades at bands 1 or 2, including English OR Two Intermediate 2 courses or a group of relevant NC units at intermediate 2
  • Mature students may be admitted without formal qualifications. All applicants will be invited to attend an informal interview.

    1 year Full time August to June
