Accounts (NC)

This course is designed to provide a good grounding in the accounting skills required for business. Successful completion of this course will allow students to progress on to a Higher National Course in Accounting or to work at an introductory level in an accounting or business organisation.

Entry requirements

  • A minimum of three Standard Grades at grades 1-4, including English or a group of SQA units at Intermediate 1.
  • Mature students may be admitted without formal qualifications.
  • All applicants will be invited to attend an informal interview.

Articulation

Successful students may progress to HNC Accounting, Administration and Information Technology or Business at Anniesland College.
