Quality

We are committed to ensuring the best quality of delivery for students. The high quality achieved at Anniesland College can be verified through successful audits by external bodies such as The British Council, Customer Service Excellence, Investors in People, City and Guilds, HMIe, Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and Scottish Quality Management Systems (SQMS).

Your views are important to the college to ensure that quality is maintained. We evaluate all courses using the HMIe Quality Framework. Student feedback is an important part of this evaluation, and is gained through Student Representative involvement in Curriculum Review Teams, the Student Liaison Committee, Board of Management and analysis of a series of college questionnaires.

College assessments are internally moderated to ensure consistency of standards and our processes are subject to regular external moderation by the various awarding bodies. There is an Academic Appeals procedure if you are unhappy with any aspect of the assessment procedure or outcome.
